Anna-Maria, I recently viewed some of your work in a gallery in Grey County. You have such a gift. I agree with many who have posted here. Your colour depiction is gorgeous. I, too, appreciate the beauty of weathered wood, old barns, dilapidated houses that dot Grey and Bruce counties. Would love to paint with you sometime. Cindy
AMD Dickinson replied:
Cindy, Your kind words leave me speechless. Thank you, and, I am humbled that you would want to paint with me.

Absolutely stunning work - the richness of the darks particularly appeals to me - beautiful!

I am doing a collection of old barns of Missouri, and yes they are falling so in ruin, I hate it. I so understand how they talk! Sometimes I sit in a door way and listen to all the things that have gone on in that barn from times past!

This is just BEAUTIFUL!! I saw a thumbnail and thought it was a photograph. I have a weakness for old barns! Your a very talented artist!
AMD Dickinson replied:
Katie, you are so kind - thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated. I too love old barns and unfortunately they are disappearing so quickly from our landscapes. They talk to me and I have 'conversations' with them :)
